MARK C. TOLBERT is the senior pastor of Christ Temple Church in Kansas City, Missouri. With over twenty years' experience in soul-stirring expository preaching, teaching, and evangelizing, he makes plain and accessible the meaning of the soul. The world over, Mark Tolbert is identified with sound exegesis, and is bold in his stand for the infallible Word of God. There can be no doubt that he is a living example of the tested soul "on fire" for Jesus Christ.
Known in his community and nationwide for exemplary church leadership, neighborhood and community development, ministries for women, and Christian education, he leads in many elected positions to improve human lives. He led the team that recently built and opened the 2.8 million-dollar Lee A. Tolbert Charter School and the Lee A. Tolbert Recreational Center in Kansas City, Missouri
Through his global television ministry (Word Network and PAX) and local radio programming, he communicates a positive challenge to more than 17 million viewers. His more than 2,000 church members reflect cultural, ethnic, and social diversity.
He is the husband of 23 years to Emelda Faciane Tolbert and father of two sons, Mark C. Tolbert, Jr. (gone to Glory) and Britton Elliott Tolbert.
Mark Tolbert received his DD from Western Baptist Bible College. His mission is to foster spiritual growth and maturity in the lives of all humanity to enable them to live victoriously and abundantly through the revelatory Word of God.
